Cheers To Ten Years of 5Ks!

We could not believe it’s been ten years, either!  Our first ever BreyerFest 5K was way back in 2016 when we were celebrating beautiful Brazil at BreyerFest: Carnival!

The first few years of races were not named, but since 2020’s Gaelic Gallop, we’ve named each year’s race and this summer’s BreyerFest Bash Dash is a great way to celebrate both the 75th anniversary of the Breyer brand and the 10th anniversary of this awesome race.

Once again, we’ve got our partners from Race Rise and Central Kentucky Race Management at the helm of this race and registration is currently open!  You can sign up here!

The in-person race will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, but virtual runners are welcome to complete their race on their own time. All participants who register by the advertised deadline on RunSignUp.com will receive a finisher’s medal and commemorative t-shirt, but runners who complete their race in-person at the KHP will be eligible to receive top prizes from Breyer!

The in-person experience will also include chip timing, awards ceremony, a DJ spinning fun dance music, post-race snacks, and more! All ages and abilities are welcome!

Our Top 2 finishers in each gender category will receive the party-ready Jewels model, a Traditional (1:9) scale model. The iconic Fighting Stallion mold was sculpted by Chris Hess and has been in the Breyer lineup since 1961.

This model is the mold’s first edition with a rainbow coat and we are excited to offer this piece of Breyer history to our overall winners of this year’s 5K!

What is better when celebrating a birthday than cake and ice cream? The top 2 finishers in the below age groups in each gender category will each receive one randomly selected model – either Red Velvet or Neapolitan!

Both are Breyer Freedom Series (1:12) scale and are the perfect way to celebrate your finish! Age group awards are based on chip time (Elapsed time from when a runner crosses the starting line mat to when he/she crosses the finish mat).
